Retro Horror Textures 2 Layers of Distress

A companion piece to my first texture pack, Retro Horror Textures. Even more high-quality horror-themed textures for retro-inspired projects as well as a focus on transparent texture sets to create your own dreadful, disgusting, or damaged textures! 

36 opaque and 50 transparent unique tileable texture sets with each set having multiple variations ranging from different colors, grunge amount, and levels of gore. These textures possess a classic dithered look that harkens back to retro hardware limitations that gave those classic games their distinct look and style.

All textures are 256x256 and also come with appropriate metallic, normal, and roughness maps. Each basecolor texture is also capable of standing on its own without the addition of the other texture maps for those who are looking for a more authentic look for their retro project. Feel free to use, alter, and modify these textures for whatever free or paid project you're working on, and I look forward to seeing what you create!

*Please note that the normal maps for the transparent textures use OpenGL so their green channel will need to be inverted to mix well with non transparent textures. In most game engines this is simply a checkbox.  I apologize for the inconvenience and hope to fix this down the road.
